Richard | Observation CAP
Since his conversion in the 70s during the Jesus movement, Richard has been a committed Christian and an active church member. Recently Richard has begun to struggle with serious discouragement, at times bordering on depression. He wishes he had made different decisions with regard to church, work and family and is finding himself growing bitter about the way things have turned out.
Like many Christians, Richard knows and believes the gospel but is struggling to see how it intersects with his current situation.
How has he drifted from its hope? Is it really relevant for him today?
This three-disc DVD set contains a total of 3, approximately 1-hour sessions. This case shows the first two consecutive sessions followed by a follow-up session later on in the scenario. After each session, the counselor talks about what just took place.
We’ve designed our Richard Observation Handbook to perfectly compliment these videos by including the “Personal Data Inventory” (PDI) for each of the counselees as well as note taking forms and questions for each case based on the ACBC Case Report Form. Answers are also provided. Student Handbooks may be purchased separately and we recommend one per person watching the videos.
