  • Caroline Newheiser is an ACBC certified counselor and has earned her master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary-Charlotte where she is the Assistant Coordinator of Women’s Counseling. Her husband, Jim, is the Director of the Christian Counseling program and is an Associate Professor of Counseling and Practical Theology at RTS-Charlotte. She has many years of experience counseling women in the local church and has a passion to help women view their lives biblically. She was a pastor’s wife for over 34 years, including 6 years in Saudi Arabia, before moving to Charlotte. She and Jim have three adult sons and four grandchildren.

  • Nicolas Ellen is the Senior Pastor of Community of Faith Bible Church in Houston, Texas, and a Senior Professor of Biblical Counseling at the College of Biblical Studies. Dr. Ellen is also a Visiting Professor and Co-Director of the MABC and D Min program at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. He has established the Expository Counseling Training Center, LLC. His extensive education includes a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Houston, an M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary, an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Masters University, a DMin with a concentration in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Ellen is a certified Biblical Counselor and fellow with ACBC, and travels nationwide with the organization teaching biblical counseling principles. Dr. Ellen and his wife Dr. Venessa Ellen have two children and four grandchildren.
