Proverbs 17:14 declares, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” Yet many of us avoid confrontation, or when we finally reach the point at which we do address a friend’s sin we do so in a fleshly and unhelpful way. Scripture tells us why, when, and how to confront our friends for the purpose of their restoration (Galatians 6:1-2).
