Intergenerational friendship is often a blessed byproduct of biblical mentoring. Let’s explore this topic together, examining the application of the one-another’s of the Word of God for building bridges to nurture these friendships. We will also consider biblical ways of navigating the challenges which intergenerational friendships present for both women in the mentoring relationship.

    Kim has had the joy of serving at Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church for 25 years through Children’s and Women’s Ministries (leading Bible Studies & Discipleship Training, writing inductive studies, and serving on the administrative team). Additionally, since receiving her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s University (2013) and becoming ACBC certified, she fills the role of counselor for women and co-counselor for couples. She also serves the body of Christ through retreat/conference speaking. She has been married to her best friend and beloved husband, Alvin (an elder at CFBC) for 39 years and ministers alongside him as he leads their Care Group. They are abundantly blessed with three children, their wonderful spouses, and nine precious grandchildren. Kim continues to be amazed by and deeply grateful for God’s unrelenting grace poured out to her, the chief of sinners, through Christ her Lord.
