Expanding on our first Southeast Regional Biblical Counseling Conference, the 2025 conference will dive even deeper into the sufficiency of God’s Word for counseling.
We will seek to answer the question: Is it wise to rely solely upon Scripture when dealing with a “mental health crisis?”
“Mental Health Crisis” has a dual meaning here. The first describes a person who is significantly distressed and unable to function in day-to-day life. They may be dealing with a traumatic circumstance, or having trouble maintaining a grip on reality.
But our culture is also facing a “mental health crisis.” At a time when more mental healthcare services are available than ever before and trigger warnings are everywhere, our nation’s self-reported mental health is declining. Also, our suicide and overdose rates are higher than ever before. How should we as believers respond to THIS crisis?
