About the Book
How do we keep praying when sorrow lingers? Whether you are burdened by suffering, disappointment, temptation, loss, or another form of affliction, God invites you to bring your anguish to him through biblical lament. Across thirty-one readings rooted in the Psalms, Lament helps readers see the gospel in Israel’s songs of sorrow, equipping them to cry out in faith, savor God’s grace, and wait on the Lord with hope.
In the 31-Day Devotionals for Life series, biblical counselors and Bible teachers guide you through Scripture passages that speak to specific situations or struggles, helping you to apply God’s Word to your life in practical ways day after day.
