In a world filled with words, most of us have completely forgotten how to truly listen. Friendship is the connection of one soul with another. And the main ways our souls connect is through words. When we fail to truly listen, we cut off our ability to connect, to know another person, and to be known. But if we will walk in the footsteps of Christ we will discover not only the ability to listen but a heart that is eager to listen as well.

    Scott pastors Cornerstone Church of West LA, a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-generational church on the westside of Los Angeles. He is also the Chair of the biblical counseling department at Eternity Bible College and an adjunct faculty member at the Los Angeles Bible Training School. Scott serves on the board of IBCD and as a fellow with ACBC.
