Segment One:

• Jim Newheiser MA, DMin, is Director of the Christian Counseling program and Professor of Christian Counseling and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte, NC. He is the executive director of the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship (IBCD), a fellow of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC). He is the author of several books, including Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage, Money, Debt, and Finances, and the minibooks How to Love Difficult Parents and Financial Crisis. Jim and his wife, Caroline, have three grown children.
• Scott Mehl (MDiv, The Master’s Seminary; DMin, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is a pastor at Cornerstone Church of West Los Angeles and an adjunct faculty member at Eternity Bible College. A fellow of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, he is the author of Loving Messy People and Redeeming Sex in Marriage. He and his wife, Lara, have four children.

Segment Two:

• Joe Keller has served in Christian ministry and leadership development for over 20 years. He currently serves as the Executive Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California, and teaches in the Biblical Counseling Department at The Master’s University. He received his undergraduate degree at The Master’s University, Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Theological Seminary. Besides reading theology and being outdoors, Joe loves to laugh and find adventure with his wife, Heidi, and their four children.
• Shannon Kay McCoy is a biblical counselor has a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA. She is ACBC certified and the author of Help! I’m A Slave To Food, as well as a contributing author to Women Counseling Women. Shannon is a retreat and conference speaker and blogs regularly for IBCD and the Biblical Counseling Coalition.

Segment Three:

• Brian Borgman is the founding pastor of Grace Community Church. He earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Biola University (La Mirada, CA), a Master of Divinity from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary (Portland, OR) and a Doctor of Ministry from Westminster Seminary (Escondido, CA) and a ThM from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Historical Theology. Brian and his wife Ariel have been married since 1987. They have three wonderful children, Ashley, Zach and Alex and three grandsons.
• Don Roy is an ACBC Fellow, currently serves as the IBCD Training Center Director, and serves as a missionary with Overseas Instruction in Counseling.

Segment Four: 

• Lauren Sterling Since 2021, Lauren has been the Director of Operations for IBCD and the Event Director for the annual Summer Institute. She earned a degree in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s University and, at 21, became the youngest-ever recorded ACBC Certified Counselor. She enjoys all things health and beauty, and loves traveling and spending sunny beach days with her husband.

Segment Five:

• Paul Tautges has been in gospel ministry for over 30 years and serves as the senior pastor of Cornerstone Community Church in Cleveland, Ohio. He has written or edited over 70 books, including Remade: Embracing Your Complete Identity in Christ, A Small Book for the Hurting Heart, Anxiety: Knowing God’s Peace, and Counseling One Another. Paul also serves as editor for the popular LifeLine mini-book series. He is a teaching fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and has completed the Formation Certificate from CCEF. He and his wife, Karen, enjoy their ten children, their sons- and daughters-in-law, and a growing tribe of grandchildren. Paul enjoys writing to cultivate one-another soul care and discipleship and, therefore, blogs regularly at Counseling One Another.
• Tim St. John MDiv, ThM, serves as the counseling pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Torrance, CA. His passion is to see the grace of gospel-centered counseling grow and thrive in local churches. Tim also serves on the council board for the BCC (Biblical Counseling Coalition), the editorial board for the SOLA network, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and retreats. He is the author of the minibook Uncovering Domestic Abuse.
